The beef brisket was best ever beef. Loved it, highly recommended, value for money food right in middle of city center.

Both my partner and I got pulled pork sandwiches. We also shared chips and Mac &a Cheese! So the Mac and cheese was ok, the pork was cooked excellently however it felt like it was being overpowered by an almost alcoholic flavour, possibly just the mixture of the moist meat and the spices but it wasn't very pleasant :(! However... More

Hi Aimee, Thanks for the review. Great to hear you liked our fries. We actually chip all our potatoes by hand everyday, close to 100kg! So we only ever use fresh potatoes cooked up fresh on the spot. Sorry to hear you didn't like the pork. It does seem like something was not correct as we normally get rave reviews... More

Took my girls and a friend to Bubbacue this evening and had an amazing meal. I went for rice and pulled Pork with all the trimmings, wife had halloumi sandwich and chips, girls shared BBQ chicken, mash and fries and friend she had BBQ chicken and salad and fries, we had potato salad and macaroni cheese sides. To wash it... More

Great to see a meat orientated restaurant having such a nice vegetarian option! I'm not an actual vegetarian but not fussed on meat and would prefer cheese stuff. It's really quick in here even if there's a big queue at lunch time. Can go for a quick lunch break from the office and can always get a seat even when... More

Well, isn't Bubbacue just amazing! I love this place! I'm yet to have a bad "sandwich" out of it. Beef brisket is my favourite. The fries are scrumptious and the mac & cheese - don't get me started, give me one NOW! You just have to try this place! They are online so have a loook at their menu &... More

When Bubbacue arrived in Belfast, the tv show 'Man v. Food' was at the height of it's popularity. Viewers got to see many of the strange and wondrous restaurants and dishes served in the states, which were a far cry from what we were used to on this side of the pond. Our eyes were opened to large portions of... More

I frequently visit Bubbacue during my lunch hour in work. I normally get the bowl with cajun rice and either pulled pork or halloumi. The food is a good price and is generally very tasty and enjoyable. Sometimes the pulled pork can be a bit dry and chewy though. The halloumi is really nice although it would be nice to... More

This place has a cool vibe to it and friendly staff, very cheap too for a main and sides but the halloumi burger is so pathetic it doesn't seem worth it. You get way more bap than filling and it's not quite satisfying. Two pieces of panko halloumi the size of matchboxes. If there was an option to have 'extra'... More

Hi Deborah, Thanks very much for the review. Great to hear you like the vibe of the place and find our staff friendly. You mentioned you felt everything was great value except the halloumi burger. Found this glory mid rush to catch the airport bus and a bit gutted that I discovered this on my last day in Belfast. They have a subway theme where you first choose your base, then your meat filling and then sides. If you play your cards right, you will fill up properly on just a main! I got cajun... More

Food is great value for all you pay for it and the different barbecue sauces that can be added are a nice touch :) Food could be a little bit hotter is my only complaint but will continue to come back!
