My husband and I had lunch here on Tuesday 25th April - highly recommended. They have a good selection of dishes on the menu, and specials on a blackboard on the wall. Our favourite pub time is afternoon/early evening, and our favourite type of pub is not too big, no music, cosy friendly welcoming atmosphere, and decent pub food. The Fountain Tavern ticked all of the boxes. No doubt the upstairs dining-room would have been nice, but we greatly enjoyed the downstairs bar menu on both our visits.

Was here for a quick lunch on a tour. This place has Excellent food! The service is professional and tasty. A bit slow on the service however that is the only detractor.

Nipped in for some grub and a couple of beers while visiting Belfast with my mum. Food was lovely, and the service from the lovely Jolene was top notch, friendly and informative. If I ever find myself over there again I'll definitely be paying another visit.

Good food, warm atmosphere and great value on a wintry day. Great friendly service and some of the best cod and chips in town.

Called in here for a pint of Guinness ! Delicious!!! I think here served the best of them all during our times in Belfast! It does have the feel of a local pub when you first walk in and there were plenty of regulars which adds to its charm! There were also plenty of visitors and patrons of all ages!... More
