Delicious food, freshly cooked and served well. Waitresses were very busy so service was rather slow.

We visited here for breakfast and both ordered the bacon with poached eggs. I specifically requested that the eggs be nice and soft but we were both served eggs which like bullets they were so hard. Atmosphere was a bit lack lustre and although the breakfast was cheap and cheerful at the end of the day we were very disappointed... More

Breaky here was okay, half the price our hotel was charging, and very convenient. Nice staff but food service a little slow first thing in the morning.

If memory serves me well, the Windmill Restaurant has been going strong in Belfast for the last twenty years or so. It's not fancy by any stretch of the imagination but serves good, reasonably priced food. Despite the name, this eatery is really just a basic cafe and not a 'restaurant'. However if you're after a fry-up (vegetarian options included),... More

Had lunch on way to railway station. Grease in the air when you enter. Glad of quick service, but surprised when charged £7.50 for kebab and chips. Menu stated £4.95, but that was the takeout price. My mistake! Decent portion but the kebab was dried up. Tasty all the same.

The windmill has been around for years and does one of the best breakfasts in Belfast at a good price, staff are good, just sit at the window and watch the world go by.

We enjoyed excellent breakfasts here, good choices too. We had the full Irish breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, soda bread, wheaten bread, mushrooms, beans different portions starting from £3.95. Plates piping hot and food freshly cooked with very friendly staff. Spotlessly clean and small enough to have that cosy feel, didn't have to wait long at all and the best... More
