Younger staff are absolutely lovely although had a few problems with the owner? Most of the food is well price for quality, recommend the duck for main but I feel the chef should re think the pâté recipe

We had a very pleasant lunch with good food from a well priced menu. Sadly the service was very slow despite being very few diners. A bit of attention to detail would make a massive difference.

Great fry with generous helping! Nothing missing...2 sausages, potato bread, black/white pudding, beans, mushrooms, bacon and one egg. Very good value at £7.50. Price doesn't include tea, coffee or toast. All thoroughly enjoyed!

Lovely restaurant with lovely atmosphere and great food. Had the Sunday carvery which tasted excellent. Really liked the presentation of the carvery. However, other dishes at the table didn't look as well presented but tasted great. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
