Giro's has a rotating menu of vegan food cooked by volunteers - they are open on Wednesday's and some other days through the week. The food is fabulous, desserts are available (if you're quick) and the customers are so friendly. Seating is shared canteen style tables so you can find yourself chatting with all sorts of folks. Children and dogs... More

Giro's Cafe has been in existence for many years having been located in a few different buildings. However, it's currently within 'The Centre' (aka The Warzone Centre), Unit 9 Bruce House, Little Victoria Street, Belfast. This Vegan and Vegetarian Cafe is run completely by unpaid volunteers, hence the opening times can be irregular. However, those who run it do so... More

It's always a lovely surprise to see what lovely new vegan yumminess they've put together for us each week. The staff (all volunteers) are really friendly, and for just £3 for a full dinner it's a steal. The setting is "rustic" - but you are guaranteed to meet a collection of beautiful, colourful people. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Giros is a long-standing institution in Belfast - ethically run not-for-profit organisation. It is a little rough around the edges but the food is fantastic. On a Wednesday evening from 6pm, we had 3 courses for £3.50 (you can't buy a pint of beer for that now) - Falafel with tzatsiki, then vegan mousaka, then baklava. With limited resources they... Been wanting to eat here for a long time! I love going around the vegetarian eateries in Belfast - and generally although the selection is good, most places do not overwhelm you with choice. Some also don't offer a single thing, which is very disappointing. Both the previous reviews are more or less correct. The cafe exists in an upstairs place... More

OMG this place is a dive! We walked in and really wanted to walk about but couldn't. The vegan food was gorg but you could just cook it at home. I really was embarrassed to be here and if anyone visiting belfast thinks this is our normal cafes I would be even more embarrassed. Perfect for vegans apart from the... More

A 4 day stay in Belfast was made complete by finding this little gem. Being vegan, eating out offers very little choice and nutritional fulfillment, and it became clear after doing an internet search, that it was going to be difficult to find dedicated veggie/vegan establishments in the city of Belfast. We stumbled upon Giro's - not very easily might... More
