Great locally sourced food. I had the wonderful sea bass and friend had the monk fish curry and both dishes were fabulous. Puddings however rather dull in comparison.

Went there on Saturday 20th May for lunch. Myself, my wife and 6 year old daughter. We were shown to the new extension at the back. Really lovely, with a fab outside smoking area. Food was fab.....I had a full pot of mussels with sour dough bread, wife had Salmon with spicey noodles and our daughter had home made fish... More

This bar was recommended by our landlady and we weren't disappointed. A lively buzzy bar with friendly staff. Food was delicious and portion sizes generous. A bowl of mussels went down well with some excellent sour dough bread. Chicken and champ was equally appreciated and whilst we thought that we wouldn't have a dessert, the choice was too tempting! Recommendation for our tour guide John @ Odyssey Tours. Not only was the food excellent, atmosphere pleasant, the value was amazing. I had the open face prawn sandwich and it was all I could do to finish the shrimp. One of our dining guests had the fish & chips, and either they need a smaller fish or larger plates! This... More

Enjoyed a nice meal. Large menu with pleasing choices for all ages. It was really warm inside and crowded but nice. We really enjoyed the traditional Irish music with local men who've played together for 50 years. We'll be back for sure.

We ate here for dinner while holidaying in the area and the fish platter is worth a notable mention because I've never eaten crab claws so big in my life! Amazing portions, great prices and really good food. Only slight let down was the service which, while friendly, was a bit slow while we were in.

My husband and I went here after spending a day on Rathlin Island (which was amazing!). This restaurant was recommended by a local as being one of Ballycastle's tried and true restaurants but not pub grub. She was right! We had a very enjoyable meal. The Atlantic Salmon was very tasty and priced reasonably. We arrived before the rush and... More
