We called in on a blustery day in Derry after walking the walls. What a warm welcome! Coffee was great, tray bakes delicious some of them had "the best stew ever".. Warmed us right up from the hospitality yo the food and drinks.

Back after 3 years since my last review and Java is still serving mighty fine Irish Stew; with proper wheaten bread and Irish butter all for under a fiver. As well, you get served complimentary water with ice without asking. Won’t wait another 3 year!

This is a family run coffee shop and cafe. Situated right beside the famous Ferryquay Gate with glass frontage, its great for watching world go by. All homebaked scones,cakes and treats. Fresh and tasty hot lunches,soups, sandwiches, paninis etc. Organic,Fairtrade coffee. We serve the best cappuchino in town. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
