This is a lovely place to pick up all things Scottish, very reasonably priced and an excellent clean environment.

We stopped enroute to Scotland but we didn't eat here ,The price like most services /tourists stops is quite expensive .We did however had a drink in the bar/pub section and the prices was same has any pub both draught beers were very good and...More

Our tour group stopped here to stretch our legs, use the toilets, and shop a bit. There a few gift shops and a blacksmith shop worth browsing through. We bought some shortbread cookies after tasting the samples provided. This was a very nice little stop...More

The Blacksmiths Shop has changed in the thirty years since we were married. It now houses a visitor centre with various shops. The restaurant, like everywhere in this centre, is staffed by very friendly staff. Great soup and chips are on sale at reasonable prices....More

visited the blacksmiths village, after driving by countless times on the way home, all very picturesque and pleasant, lots of gifts to remind you of a nice day out food is a little expensive in the village area but worth a visit

We found lots of lovely gifts to buy for our relatives, so much to choose from. It was lovely to wander round looking at all the different foods, from a large variety of Whiskey's, local honey to shortbread biscuits and haggis

This place has a great deal of historical attraction , but ‘don’t the owners use that’ you are a captive audience and they cash in on it . It’s a catch 20 situation if you don’t visit you will miss some great historical data etc...More
