Used to visit this quaint restaurant when we lived a bit closer but hadn't been for ages so thought it would be nice to return again. The menu had a nice choice & me & my wife were both looking forward to the Italian cuisine. I ordered the goats cheese with stornoway black pudding. It was delicious & presentation was... More

Been here too many times to mention. Back tonight for my girlfriend's birthday dinner and again not disappointed. About time I got round to writing a review. The best Italian restaurant I've been to bar none. Me and the misses always compare every other Italian restaurant to da Vinci's. I doubt we will find better. The food is faultless, I... More

Great atmosphere, great staff the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the food. It was nice enough but have had nicer which was a shame. Had the chicken milanese and the tomato sauce was a bit bland.

We visited as a couple with friends and their children and didn't have a single complaint. For an Italian restaurant the menu is very extensive with a separate children's menu also. The food was as tasty as the menu made it sound...even the kids fish goujons. The wine list was almost perfect and the service was pretty much second to... More

Some of our party arrived 15 minutes early and even though it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy they were able to give us a seat until our table was ready. The service was fantastic. We were a party of 8 and several staff brought our dishes out at the same time so no one was... More

I had a spare 2 hours before a meeting and my wife was in another part of the country. I had a choice - cook for myself or book in somewhere to eat before my meeting. The booking was very easy, no hassle at all. The restaurant when I arrived was decorated very Christmassy and the welcome was very warm.... More

Ate here on Saturday afternoon, was a flying visit to eat up some time. Promptly seated and drink order taken. Didn't have a starter and went straight for a main of chicken milanese, took approx 15 mins to arrive which was fantastic as you could see it had been prepared fresh. Decent portion and very tasty. Have eaten here many... More

Visited at 7 on Friday night, table for four. Around 2/3 full but draughty and with very harsh lighting. The tables all seem very thrown together so you feel there is no real privacy. Good moretti beer and red wine, shame we waited 50 mins for four basic starters. These were adequate but uninspired. Waitress seemed bemused that we asked... More

My partner and I were just hungry after watching the Kilmarnock Christmas lights switch on. Fantastic veal veal chop along side perfect pasta served by great kids. Would recommend for freshness and value and I will return
