Ate here twice - very extensive menu with both Thai and Indian dishes. Both meals great quality, reasonable price. Good services and pleasant surroundings

Being an Indian and a foodie, I have to say - really good quality food. However, I have not tested all.

From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look like much as it is situated on the second floor. But we fancied thai and indian cuisine so decided to give it a go when we passed by. The inside is neatly decorated, slighly more upmarket than casual dining. We agree with other reviews stating the staff is quite ambivalent, and were wary... More

This is one of the best restaurant I've dined in UK, the food is served hot and fast not to mention how tasty it is, the waiter was kind and helpful in choosing our preferred type of food, utensils were clean, the only thing that bothered me was something totally not related to the restaurant which was BABY CRYING in... Always be cautious of a place that specialises in two specialties! I chose the wrong choice. The Thai pod 'shampoo special' decidedly non special like a cheap Chinese meal you would buy from Iceland. And though on he Valentine's Day special it hardly saved me money. The meat starter was pretty mediocre too. Staff ambivalent and cost way more than... More

Went for Valentine's meal. Place was empty and I know why now. First we found a large bug in our glass. Pointed it out and it was replaced. Main meals were poor. Salmon dish was so salty as to be inedible although we were polite and made an effort. Although we complained, it was not taken off the bill. Noodles... More

Came here on Valentine's Day , my boyfriend had ordered off the Valentine's Day special menu.. 22 quid for a starter and an entree, major rip off in my opinion compared to the rest of the menu prices. Staff were prompt but not really friendly. My food was also rather oily. I would not come back.

Very good food with both starter and main course. Generous portions with plenty of flavour. Nice to not be rushed as well. Thank you

This place was a cosy quiet place where you can enjoy good Indian and Thai food, I am a vegetarian, so there were not many options in the Thai range. (I had done a buffet)Indian food was not a problem, and the spice indicators were nearly always right.£10 for adults and £5 for children. That is very well priced for... More

Staying in Old Town

Neighbourhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
