Been twice in the last month as always enjoy a good curry and brought my girlfriend on both occasions, went with a Chicken Biryani which I rarely have but in here this is on another level, plus with the garlic naan so huge and tasty,...More

I am afraid that my worst fears have been realised this exceptional and unique restaurant is closing on the 14th of May 2016 and will become a Scottish themed restaurant, I wish them all the best but this is a tragedy for Edinburgh to lose...More

Had a carry out for two. Excellent value and delicious food. Menu not huge, but still some interesting options. Staff were very friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

A few friends and I had as usual a beautiful meat here last Wednesday but were devastated to be informed that the owner is retiring and in a few weeks this unique and great place will no longer be the best Punjabi restaurant in Edinburgh,...More

We called in on a cold and windy night, and had a nice meal. The korma was creamy and delicious, but a lamb saag was a bit bland for my taste.

Khushis Punjabi on Broughton St (not to be confused with the chain nonsense on Leith Walk) has long been a favourite of mine and my family and having visited this past weekend the time has come for its review. A small traditional India restaurant with...More

During our city trip we decided on Khushi Punjabi and it was a great choice. The food was great, the service lovely and you'll probably get more food than you can eat. Overal very good.

Broughton & Calton
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to
malls and utilitarian housing, Broughton and Calton

even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and
art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The

Khushi Punjabi is family owned and operated right here in Edinburgh, Lothian. Since our restaurant opened in 1983, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other restaurants may offer similar services, but our legendary reputation for large portions and great food means that you get great value for money and a personal service that others can rarely match.
