You might call it a tourist trap. The food was blend. Chicken on a bed of salmon with brie had no flavour what so ever. The spicy checked enchillada had some flavour, but it certainly wasnt spicy. All and all i would not recommend going...More

Lovely glass of wine on the terrace. Great Camembert starter. Great fish and chips. Great cranachan. Even better service. Second time we have been and I will go again next time we visit Edinburgh.

The outside of this restaurant doesn't do it justice. It is a tiny romantic lovely little hidden gem which is definitely worth a visit! Steaks were cooked perfectly with good quality meat used, and the service was fantastic. Would definitely re visit and recommend!

Nice location but very overpriced for what it is. We had fish and chips and set menu. Fish and chips was the smallest portion of fish and chips I have ever had. Fish wasn't cooked enough and there were a few soggy chips on the...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
