Enjoyed fish and chips at Maxie's Friend had Haggis and neeps While the food was pleasant, value for money may be an issue. Situated near to the Castle perhaps this explains the costing. Small intimate bistro type eatery. Fun. interesting décor and lovely staff

We dined here with a Groupon Voucher, if it hadn't been for this we would never have known this restaurant/bistro existed as it is tucked around the side of the castle. The food is not fantastic but adequate for the price we paid. The starters...More

Went in for some drinks and food. Sat out on the terrace as it was a sunny day. Ryan was the only waiter on the floor and he was excellent! Very attentive and chatty, good job!

What a superb night. Food was fantastic. Service fantastic. Staff very attentive. Only downside was the coffee. Need to review the brand. Coffee tasted burnt and very bitter. That said l will be back. Thanks to all for a great night.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
