We ordered for home delivery so I cannot comment on the restaurant facilities but we happily over ordered so much that I feel well able to comment on the food. Absolutely delicious - every bite. They have a twist on baba ghanoush that is tahini...More

Earlier for tea today I went to Beirut. Expecting nothing too big I entered the restaurant and was suprised by the very Lebanese atmosphere. Me and my family were welcomed by this guy outside and were led into the restaurant. We got seated very quickly...More

We have eaten here many times and the food is great and we would normally have rated 4. Last night when we paid our bill we were given £10.00 too little in our change. When we pointed this out to our server she grabbed the...More

We popped into the take away with a sleeping toddler in the pram and baby on our lap. The man who served us was really friendly, helpful. We had chicken wraps , mine was chargrilled , zesty and fresh and my husband enjoyed his Shwarma...More

Tasty food, good service, nice location in the heart of old town, car park available. Must try the bread and humus!

Disappointing hummus + chicken starter and also deep fried minced lamb croquette. Both very dry. Another monced lamb in flatbread dish was ok bit toooo salty. Maybe i should have tried a main course dish. Generous portions so 2* up to 3.

My last review in 2013 was very favorable: great food, good value, good service. In 2018, Beirut remains the same and has continued it's high standards. Don't fix what isn't broken! We will be back again.

Great place, is easy to find (and one reviewer saying not in a safe area is not true - the locale is well lit, clean and handy for buses, car parking or walking to compared to some places in a capital city). Very good choice...More

Many of Edinburgh’s student hangouts gather around
university buildings in Southside, the sort of
neighbourhood that supports a long string of
second-hand shops and eateries serving ethnic food for
just a few pounds. In August the student population is
replaced by vast numbers of boisterous visitors here
for the Fringe, Edinburgh’s world-class comedy and
arts festival which headquarters itself here. Flanking

Plenty available both meat and vegetarian. If you give a notice in advance, gluten-free bread could be provided. Hope this answers your question
