Nothing wow about this establishment we were a party of four and although everything was pleasing well presented the experience was fine no more no less. Bit out of town but easy enough to get to by local transport.

Very good value lunch at £9-95 for two courses. Interesting menu. Vegetarian options available. House white wine was excellent. Best thing has to be the desserts. Starters were very interesting too. have a private room which was in use for a Christmas lunch. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely lunch at Bia Bistrot midweek - great value on their fixed price menu and very friendly service. Very relaxed ambience and the portions were generous.

I've had lunch at Bia twice now and on each occasion both my companion and I have been underwhelmed by our food. The soup has been bland and the main course has been a child-size portion - and served entirely without vegetables. Vegetables are available but to get them you have to pay £4 extra - which raises the price... More

Lovely lunch in a small local bistro at Holy Corner. Good food, good service and really good value. This was our second visit and we'll return.

We went here on a Thursday night, the first night of our long weekend in Edinburgh. Everything about this restaurant is attractive, from the cosy atmosphere to the exceptional food. Between the two of us we had teal duck, partridge, pheasant and venison, finished off with a hazelnut chocolate brownie - all gorgeous! The wines were as good as the... More

We booked to eat here with friends to celebrate my birthday, unfortunately an airport closure prevented our visit. Rearranging our trip for 4 weeks later, we repeated our attempt to eat at Bia, our perseverance was rewarded with great food, and helpful and engaging service. 4 adults and 3 children made up our party, there isn't a dedicated children's menu,... What a find, visited for lunch with some friends and it was amazing. The decor and atmosphere was similar to a small bistro in Paris and was very busy. We had the lunch menu (£9.50 for 2 courses or £11.00 for 3 courses) and the choices from the menu were excellent, had a wonderful rabbit and gherkin terrine followed by... More

We visited on a Friday night for dinner and were incredibly impressed by Bia. Friendly welcoming staff, knowledgeable about the menu and wine in a small but busy restaurant. Delicious starters of squash terrine and rabbit respectively, a main of duck cooked to perfection and finally that chocolate brownie...mmmm delicious. All washed down with a lovely red wine and some... More

Just down the road, this will do. Oh no this is a must visit pilgrimage. Welcoming, tasteful, assured quality. The menu is wide ranging with plenty of local fresh produce. The wine list offers a regular speciality. And you'd expect whiskey to be on the menu, well you won't be disappointed by the range and quality offered. Just another French... More
