We visited Origano with our two grandchildren (5 &7) while staying nearby. The menu was great for a family and the pizza terrific. We also enjoyed the cheese board.

One of the best meals out I've had. It is a lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated and the pizza is first rate

Came here for a quick bite after work. I had the 11" spinacio pizza, which was absolutely delicious - the base was perfect, the toppings (spinach, gorgonzola, grana padano and an egg) perfectly judged. I finished it in an indecently short time. The next week I tried la Favorita for a compare/contrast - there is no comparison, Origano every time.... More

Two years ago i loved the food but moaned about the service. With the new premises all is sorted, or at least it was tonight. Antipasti between two was fab, lovely fresh flavours, then we shared a massive 16" pizza, excellent. With a bottle of wine bill came to a mere £43. Brilliant, recommend 😁

I read the reviews and was so glad we took the 15 min drive to visit. Outside of Rome this has to be the best Pizza I've had. The restaurant was popular, full of friends getting together and had a great atmosphere. Lovely to watch the chefs preparing the food in the traditional pizza oven. My 14 year old son... More

The food here is amazing, not that expensive and the service is great. We came here for a late dinner one Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I love Pizza and i've now been to Origano 4 times. Wood fired oven, a varied pizza menu and very reasonable wines make for a superb experience not to mention the cozy atmosphere and attentive service. I gorged myself last night on a 16inch pizza with spiced meats, motz and a stunning tomato base. The pizza base itself was perfectly... More

I am not a fan of Pizza honestly. However, after trying Origano, I think it becomes the only Pizza I not only can but also want to keep visiting regularly in Edinburgh. The pizza is a little bit pricier than other ordinary Italian restaurants in the city. However, the hand-stretched gourmet pizza it provides is so great. The combination or... More

My partner, my son and I visited here for lunch. Greeted very politely and looked after very well with an appreciation that when children are hungry they are hungry at that moment! My son had an 11" pepperoni pizza that looked great and, according to him, was the best. He couldn't finish it and there was no problem putting it... More
