This restaurant offers good Turkish fare in the middle of Edinburgh. We enjoyed the food and wine. It reminded us of the good times we have had in Turkey

Visited here on Saturday night 10th June 2017. Could not fault anything with this place, great relaxed atmosphere. One of the best meals myself and partner had for a very long time. Commend the staff on a very attentive service......this is the blueprint on how...More

I visited Yeni Meze Bar with my two kids, a friend and her kids. We stopped in after touring all day (with a reservation) and felt perfectly comfortable casual and not very freshened up. It was very convenient for us but more importantly, the food...More

This place is very good for people with dietary requirements. I am a vegan, and I have come to this restaurant with other vegans as well as coeliacs and we have always had a good selection of dishes to choose from. Yeni also has gluten...More

My husband and I really enjoyed a very satisfying dinner here. We both chose their exceptionally flavoursome lentil soup with Imam bayildi to follow, and my husband drank ayran whilst I stuck to sparkly water. Our bill came in at an amazingly low £26 (with...More

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,

with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest

This is a question for the restaurant or anyone that can answer me. I have just returned from Crete and had the most amazing samali cake. I manage to get recipe online for it and it asks for mastic. It is very expensive to buy online and as I only need a very small amount cannot justify it. Is there an alternative that I can use or somewhere local that I can buy a small amount of this ingredient Thanks
