My boyfriend was keen to bring me here, as he had visited with friends a few years previously and raved about the burgers. It's such a shame that our burgers were burnt (considering this is the staple meal on offer on the menu, you'd think...More

Casual, relaxed meal out. Great burgers, fresh and perfectly cooked. Waitress never stopped smiling and although she was working on her own, the service was great. Well worth a visit.

I came to Bell’s Diner a few years back and always recall it doing fantastic burgers. I definitely wasn’t wrong! We went by tonight starving hoping for a big, tasty burger and we got that and more. We ordered a 6oz and 8oz beef burger...More

We're surrounded by a lot of fake. Fake news, fake goods, and sometimes restaurants that give a fake impression of what they really are with their fake industrial, fake American or fake whatever else look. Not Bell's Diner. This is a great example of an...More

Located in Stockbridge this restaurant is not too far from the centre and it allows a stroll through pretty Stockbridge as a combination. We like the service and the food, it was good value and a good experience.

The burger specialist is back to best form. Delicious meal with great meat and a wonderful selection of sauces and toppings. Newish management making a difference. Quiet though for the Festival.

Recently moved into the area and had no idea where to eat late lunch on a Saturday. Belle's diner had good reviews so tried it and we were very pleasantly surprised! The place is tiny no more than about 6 tables but the burgers were...More

Excellent food and nice, casual atmosphere. Relatively inexpensive given the great quality of food. Would definitely recommend a visit. It is a very small restaurant so a reservation is recommended.

Just downhill of New Town and attractively straddling
a river near the elegant Royal Botanic Garden, it’s
small wonder that Stockbridge became one of the city’s
first hip neighbourhoods. It’s now one of Edinburgh’s
most desirable, though many bohemian touches have
fallen away as its residents have matured and the area
has gentrified. Some second-hand shops cling on, but
mostly residents display refined tastes in basement
