My first visit to The Kitchen and it was just perfect. Delightful flavours, textures and presentation of beautiful produce.

One of my top 10 meals I have ever had , visited last week the Wagyu certainly did not disappoint and was well worth the £30 supplement. If you haven't dined here before you most certainly add it to your bucket list. Iam still licking my lips and its been a week.

Thankfully gone are the days when people wondered about their dream last meal before they were executed, but if they were dreaming and living in or visiting Scotland, this is the place to go. I went there for a retirement treat with my wife and it lived up to all the expectations. It was a great experience and the taster... More

We had a party of six here for a friends Birthday 50th, although we have visited many time before (we always go when staying in Edinburgh) It was a first for our friends, as we expected everyone was blown away by the food even those that had their foundries challenged in the nicest way, Even though Tom was away that... Booked a stay in Leith to complete our Edinburgh Michelin experience (done the city centre ones over the past few years). The Kitchin is definitely the best if you want excellent food and wine in a trendy, unstuffy environment with friendly, but professional service. Can't fault it, and only wish we'd saved this for the last night, as unfortunately Mr... More

We visited the Kitchin after receiving a gift voucher from my mum for my birthday. First if all the service was flawless, staff were so kind and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was pretty exceptional, we both had scallops to start which were just perfect. We also received a map of Scotland which showed... More

I visited the Kitchin with my foodie brother and we enjoyed a fabulous meal from their 3 course a la carte menu. Steep at £100+ per person, with wine and coffee, but worth it. The food was marvellous. The service was simply first class.....and we saw the great man working in the kitchen. The carrot amuse bouche was incredible: words... More

Good to be back and meet Tom Kichin again. He welcome guests in the bar before dinner. Looking through the long window to the kitchen is like a tropical fish tank flurry of action! Restaurant Manager and Sommelier are French and were most friendly and helpful over our "Chef's Seasonal Tasting menu" which included matched wines. Most enjoyed were, Langoustine... More
