If you don't enjoy being pampered and made to feel as though you as a customer really matter, then this is not the place for you. From nature to table the by-word of this establishment is evident in the preparation and service of the food....More

Visited The Kitchin with friends in May for a three course lunch with wine. The food and service was fantastic and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The celebrity chef Tom Kitchin was present in the restaurant and had time to come and speak...More

Visited the Kitchin in May for my 30th birthday. The food was unbelievably good and the service was brilliant. A very nice relaxed atmosphere for such a quality restaurant. Will 100% be back!

Was in Edinburgh with family for vacation and had dinner at The Kitchin. Was one of best meals we have had in long time. We opted for tasting menu and even my daughters were happy - priceless.... good whisky and wine selections as well.

My sister and I had the set lunch and both chose the same dishes - the shellfish gratin, the coley with squid, and the lemon souffle with lemon yoghurt ice, together with wine pairings. The restaurant is pretty dark, but our table was comfortable and...More

Here's the thing - great concept to offer a lengthy tasting menu sourced by ingredients from Scotland (maybe not the lemon souffle....) and at a difficult time of the seasonal calendar admittedly, but the food was generally good but not exceptional (eg Azurmendi, Ramon Freixa,...More
