Great place for what is known as comfort food, especially when hungover. It is nothing particularly special, but yummy all the same, similar I suppose to many of our own mums cooking! Tasty pie and mash, but can defiantly find better.

Not at all fussy, just really good food. Service was excellent, as was the haggis. My only regret was not ordering an Irn Bru. Next time!

First, the food was delicious. But what really made the experience memorable was the awesome service. Both waitresses were funny and gave good recommendations. Great place to grab a bite in Edinburgh

The staff is very kind and as you enter this place they welcome you as an old friend, which is very pleasant. There is a great choice of typical dishes of the local cuisine and the gluten-free options are marked in the menu. I had...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
