As we walked in noticed straight away good busy buzz about the place, always a good sign. The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to be really happy at their work, again another good sign. We both had the special, steak pie and chips, homemade and delicious. Decor is modern and comfortable, food is good value for money, the owner Giles said hello and obviously cared what we thought of our meal, nice touch! Definitely be back another time

In a very wet and windswept Falkirk we chanced upon Finnegans and had a welcome break from the weather a refreshing coffee and some toasted tea loaf. This part of the Hub in Falkirk, and is an excellent cafe/bistro with a superb bill of fare. Liked it a lot. Friendly service, great choice, neat and tidy accommodation.

Have been in Finnegans several times pre-Covid and was very satisfied with my experience. Went down last week for breakfast and was very impressed by the way the restaurant had been set up to deal with all the Covid related regulations. There was a sanitising station at the door, tables were appropriately spaced and the staff were wearing appropriate PPE. During our visit several people arrived when there were no tables available however staff offered to take their mobile numbers and call when a table became free. Food was excellent as always and I noticed that all tables and chairs were carefully sanitised when customers left. Would thoroughly recommend.

Thanks so much for the great feedback on our efforts to make Finnegans as safe as possible for customers and staff alike. We want to ensure we not only serve great quality value food but that it is served in the most hygienic environment possible. All cakes are covered, a, counter length perspex screen is up, sanitizers in place, table cleaned with anti bac after each use and chairs also sprayed after each use. Along with distanced tables and PPE masks for staff. Thank you.

Went to Finnegans for lunch and it was great. My friend and I had stovies with bread and butter and it was absolutely delicious. A great lunch on a cold day. The staff were so friendly and helpful there is not one negative comment I can make about this restaurant. We asked how the stovies were made and found out through this conversation that they use local and Scottish ingredients so even better.
We'll definitely be back, thank you.

Finnegans have been getting us through lockdown lows and celebrations with birthday, children & Father’s Day afternoon teas and lunches. Exceptional quality, delicious food and the friendliest staff in Falkirk. Can’t wait for the cafe to reopen.

This was our second visit to Finnegans. Both times the service has been excellent. The staff are personable, friendly, attentive and efficient. We love that local suppliers are used on the menu, for example Oliphant's bread for sandwiches and toasties. We also found the homemade soup delicious, with no scrimping on the ham, unlike some other cafes we have visited. These details make all the difference. We will definitely be back.

We're regulars! We've been for the tapas night, burger night, lunch and absolute favourite: breakfast/brunch (many times!) And never disappointed. The owner Giles has put a great team and cafe together, always friendly and good service. The food is always great, it's simple, and they use fantastic local ingredients/suppliers.
I'm also impressed with their stellar response to covid restrictions: the tables have always been well spaced anyway, but the cleaning routine between sitttings and ensuring everyone has hand sanitised before entering is very comforting. We also took advantage of the take away service they promptly started early in lockdown, and it was a well needed treat!! So glad Finnegans has continued to thrive though this time, we'd be so sad to lose it

Finnegans is our go to place for breakfast or lunch because the food is always good and the service is always friendly and efficient. It stands out because they use top quality produce from local suppliers. We love the Fallenich farm bacon that comes with the breakfast and the Oliphant rolls are always so fresh. For lunch our favourites are Paninis, Baked spuds or the famous Club Sandwich. The portions are always a great size and you never leave hungry. Without doubt the best cafe in Falkirk. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Absolutely fantastic visit to Finnegans for afternoon tea. We brought along a 6 year old who had a little personalised afternoon tea for kids and just absolutely loved it!!! She said it was the best day ever!! Excellent service, excellent food. Will definitely be back!!!

Brilliant lockdown afternoon tea delivered as promised. Cakes and sandwiches very fresh and extremely tasty. If you have to have a doorstep birthday celebration, a homemade afternoon tea delivered on a china cake stand is the way to go. Definitely recommend.

Finnegans went above and beyond for our annual get together on Friday the 24th January. There were 27 of us and we had the best Homemade steak pie and macaroni cheese.Then to finish was delicious individual apple pies and custard. Food was delicious and service was great. Couldn’t recommend enough. Will definitely be booking again

We’ve been in a couple of times now and every time the staff and food never fail to disappoint. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food (including coffee and cakes) is outstanding and it’s definitely good value.
It’s a small place, but it’s cosy and since everything is made to order, there can be a wait for the food but it’s honestly well worth it (the wait isn’t long, it’s not a bad thing).
10/10 we will be back again, especially for the macaroni cheese (and coffee). Thanks for the great service to those that work there.

I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to my cousin today as a surprise for her birthday. The man I spoke to on the phone couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating even though I rang back to change the date. There are lots of delicious looking cakes and sandwiches on the stand, which I assumed would be made of cardboard or similar. It's not, it's a proper porcelain cake stand. Couldn't be happier. Well done Finnegans.

We enjoyed our first afternoon tea from Finnegan’s this weekend. A variety of sandwich fillings were available on request and there were a great selection of cakes. The food was delicious! Staff could not have been more accommodating and catered for both gluten and dairy free diets. Would definitely recommend!

I received an afternoon tea delivery today on a day that they are usually closed. It was my dad’s funeral so the team at Finnegans went that extra mile which resulted in the day being that little less stressful. The food was exceptional, especially the sausage rolls and the choice of cakes was amazing. I will absolutely use Finnegans again and would recommend them to everyone. Extremely value for money too. Thank you again.
