Great welcome from Wilma and the Boss man Ian . The food was amazing as usual . A lot cheaper than last time but still the same very high standards being met. Leeanne was our waitress for the evening , absolutely first class service . Moira and all the staff were very attentive which made the evening perfect. Get yourself... More

Went for Thursday night steak deal. £30 for 2 steaks cooked exactly as you like them and a bottle of The Riddle house wine.Couldn't fault it! Not sure about the review from "used to be regular customer". As regular customers ourselves over the years seems more than a bit personal and harsh!

I disagree completely with the last review from " used to be a regular customer" as The lovely Wilma working behind the bar has always got a cheery smile and friendly chat for her customers xx

Went for a meal with the hubby for a rare night out. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Saturday night. The new menu I found to be fairly limited and the food we had planned on was no longer available. However we found alternatives that were all fairly tasty. Our only issues were the "creamy mash" served with the... More

Stumbled upon this fabulous bar/restaurant after being unable to eat in another dog friendly restaurant as it was too busy and thankfully it was! The Shore welcomed us and our dog with open arms and provided treats and water for our little dog on arrival. The staff are so accommodating and the Shore has lovely decor and is extremely clean.... My husband and I had supper at the shore last Sunday evening. The menu isn't huge (a massive plus in my opinion) but is filled with favourites so it was difficult to choose. In the end opted for the risotto and the burrito. It was music to my ears when we were told the risotto would take half an hour... More

The service was excellent, the place is always busy and normally the food is excellent. I ordered scampi and it was over cooked; the simply took it back and replaced it. The second plate was very good. All the other meals were super.

Visited this place on route back home after spa weekend, this place was very nice and well kept inside, modern. Menu had a good value range on it - 2 or 3 courses for £10.50 or £12.50. Great tasting food and decent portions!
