Superb service and excellent menu. We all selected different meals, burger, pizza, fajitas and cajun chicken. The portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would thoroughly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed.

Visited here many years ago, but it's since been renovated and now very much looks the part. Very stylish inside with comfy seating, great lighting and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
We went for the lunch deal, which consists of 2 courses for £14 or 3 for £18. I obviously had the 3 'cause my eyes are way bigger than my belly.
We had:
Salt & Chilli Tempura Chicken
Margherita Pizza
Homemade Chilli Bowl
Chocolate Brownie
Chocolate Nut Crunch w/ Ferrero Ice Cream
What I will say is the portion sizes were good, and everything was served hot and quick, by very friendly staff.
The food, unfortunately, was a bit of a mixed bag. My main problem was the lack of any big flavours. There was nothing here that really enticed you to want to come back and order it again. The Chilli was probably the most underwhelming of them all, with no real punch of heat or spice, and a very watery sauce.
The desserts, on the other hand, were actually much better. They were well presented and definitely hit the spot on the flavour front. The Brownie being our favourite of the two.
The lunch deal is a great price, and you won't be disappointed with the surroundings at The Oxgang, but overall the food just didn't leave me wanting more.

It might have been 1 more, however there were too many things just not right.
It was a long awaited family get together for Hogmanay. So expectations were high. Our room was tiny with one side of the bed up against a bit of wall. No glasses, tiny tv, discovered its wires unattached to the socket. Down the the lounge there were no unreserved seats to wait for function to start. Due to have a welcome drink between 6 & 7pm. Didn’t get in to hall til 7:15.
Meal, £65 per head, starter ok, beef very tender however i had to share mine with OH as his was the size of a egg. My sisters vegan choice was semi raw squash with no flavour & fairly bland bed of rice. Others who had chicken, was dry & no gravy.
Service good, cleanliness top notch, staff brilliant, band amazing & décor lovely. No staff overnight & no breakfasts in the morning-poor for a “hotel”. All in all we didn’t let it spoil our get together

Normally love the oxgang and have visited often throughout the years but tonight was a real disappointment. Service was so slow(an hour from ordering to being served)and food was awful. Got the street food sharing platter. Expecting tasty homemade tacos and juicy burgers. Burgers were dry and burnt. Tacos were stale premade tortilla boats with watery almost tinned mince in them. Not a kidney bean, salad or salsa in sight. And the loaded pulled pork fries were cold right through with cheese not even melted on top and no sauce or flavour through the pork. Sad to say we won't be back.

First time here and will be back.
Staff great and attentive, food superb good sized portions all cooked fresh and piping hot. One of the best Peshwari nan’s I’ve had.

We had heard and read so many great things about this restaurant and it lived up to all our expectations. There were 4 adults in our group and we all had a different main meal and all said that these were some of the best we had ever had at any Indian restaurant. The food is so fresh and full of flavour without being too spicy. The staff were all very attentive and knowledgeable about the meals on the menu. We can’t wait to find any excuse to return.

Went for dinner here this evening and hadn't booked a table. My husband's friend had recommended it. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and the lovely gentleman in the Reception area was so kind to try and fit us in rather than just turning us away. There was another gentleman in the queue ahead of us and he kindly gave us his table as he advised he was staying in the hotel and would have his food in his room. Thank you to the kind gentleman.
I moved to Scotland from Leicester 10 years ago and Leicester have a lot of fantastic Asian Restaurants. I have been to many Asian Restaurants since moving to Falkirk and this has been the best so far. The food, service and staff were outstanding. We got our drinks and food in no time at all and the staff were so friendly and energetic. As soon as you finished a course, someone was over clearing your plates and wiping table down and most of all the staff were chatting to everyone and making us all laugh. Amazing atmosphere, amazing tasty food, amazing service and staff. Thank you for a fabulous evening. Will definitely be back.

Excellent all round experience. Food was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful and you didn't feel rushed. The front of house manager was excellent, explaining all the dishes and even getting us a taste of a couple of sauces to help us decide. Some of the best Indian food I have eaten and all this tucked away in the wee hamlet of Grangemouth. Will certainly be back.

I have been here weekly, usually for lunch with another family member since it opened however occasionally like tonight we go for dinner instead. Due to how popularly it is you need to book well in advance ( however it is truly worth it ).
The decor and ambiance is nice, friendly & relaxed.
You are greeted on entry with staff who are friendly and pleased to see you, when you have been a few times you then feel like you’re part of the family.
Food is amazing, doesn’t matter what you get ( I have had a good few things ) all fantastic.
Best thing - there is a front of house member of staff who is fantastic, from how he greets you on arrival to the quick chat as he’s taking the stuff away . He always has time for everyone. The owner is approachable and wants feedback, when this is given he acts on this( not that I have had much to feedback except great) however I did feed back when at other restaurant had tried a dish that was all right but not fab and right away owner asked me to try again at this restaurant, I did tonight and it was amazing. Would seriously recommend this place

Starter was burnt…sent it back and they came back not much better. Then had fish and chips for main, chips were dried and shrivelled and didn’t think much of the side salad, this consisted of lettuce and onion. Wasn’t taking a gamble on a dessert so can’t comment.

Our first visit to the Oxgang . Starters were ok .
Mains were absolutely delicious would definitely recommend the steak pie . Got a smaller portion but still great portion.
Staff were so nice and attentive.
Can’t wait to visit again

Our 1st visit, having heard great reviews. We were met and shown to our table by lovely friendly waiter. The decor is fresh and modern. There's an extensive menu to choose from. We both had Indian and loved it. I ordered the lamb with a tangy sauce. It didn't look appealing, but it was delicious. Loads of chunks of mouth watering Lamb. My partner had the chicken tikka chasni and again packed full of fresh chicken. We shared the mix pakora, which was tasty, and the Peshwari Nan Bread was amazing, with plenty of coconut through it. We will recommend and most definitely return to try different dishes.

We heard about the revamp and new menu so went for lunch. The refurbishment is lovely and comfortable, restful greys and greens. The staff were friendly and attentive. The lunch menu had all the old favourites, I had butter chicken with paratha and my husband had chicken bhuna with nan. Both very tasty, the butter chicken was the best ever, subtle flavours I could taste mango. I have to say I have eaten Asian food from Hong Kong to San Francisco and back. Yes really. This was one of the best and right on my doorstep. Fabulous, if they keep this standard up it will be a local institution. :-)

Absolutely brilliant...
Went in on day 2 of the new menu after the change to Swaran Indian Cuisine.
Tasty as anything, great menu options, extremely helpful & friendly staff, managers that seem to really care about your experience - and the football on in the bar! Ticks all the boxes for us.

😁 Would definitely go back. Not a huge veggie choice, usual chana & a few others. Nan bread lovely, rice good, my lamb sauce nice & rich, husband said he’d choose a different chicken one, it was just ok, Mums korma sweet as a sweet thing in a sweet shop but she ate it all! Really busy, we think it’s a great addition to a limited choice of places in Grangemouth!
