Best steak and ale pie EVER! We wandered in off the street, found a seat, enjoyed much local color and characters, and left feeling we had really been among the locals. Excellent!

We went here a couple of times during our stay in St Andrews. They have a couple of flights of whiskey so you can try a few. The prices aren’t too bad. They also have a nice selection of cask ales.

I am a visiting student at St Andrews University and I use to come here because it is a friendly place with a good service. Beers are good and I also got the cri-pie a few times, not bad at all!
