How cool is this place. Eclectic collection of discombobulated fine porcelain items - deliberately mismatched, this bohemian presentation of high tea is such a breath of fresh air. The staff are super efficient, the space is tres funky, the tables and chairs, the large mirrors,...More

Just back from my first visit and will not be the last. I have been looking for somewhere nice to go for a good roast on a Sunday and this is the place. Me and my partner took his mum for lunch and didn't know...More

This place hit all the right buttons. Main restaurant was booked so we got to eat in the tea room - like eating in someone's cozy home in a quaint upstairs room. Delicious home cooking ( fish/chips, chicken thyme stew) and cakes ( lemon and...More

Arrived here within about five minutes of our reservation time. Staff looked flummoxed because we showed up a few minutes early. We were given a wobbly table in a corner and basically left to fend for ourselves amidst a crowd of locals who had shown...More

One of the friendliest pubs I've been to, staff were really helpful and food was delicious, would recommend trying their steak and ale pies. A bit pricy but its well worth it

This restaurant has an extremely warm and inviting ambiance. It's below street level but has outside windows. The decor is quite traditional. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening without reservations and had no trouble getting a table. After having eaten in their sister...More

Visited the restaurant upstairs as part of a large group. We sat in an upstairs room and made selections from a broad menu of traditional delights. I ordered the fish and chips selection and was pleased to have a large battered fish fried to perfection...More

You definitely can. They often have birthday parties and even a wedding I think. There are private rooms upstairs.
