Typical of a city pub it was standing room only when we went in. Good pint, although only seemed to have one ale on tap (others were stout). Pie & peas helped soak up the beer. Staff very friendly.

This is not a restaurant but then who needs to eat when you are in whisky heaven. It's a traditional, old fashioned Scottish pub, which I understand currently has 652 whiskies on the gantry. This was my first time in the bar and had not been recommended by both Trip Advisor and from locals in Glasgow , I would have given it a miss , but as it was near our hotel we wandered in on a wet Saturday to catch the rugby. I have to say I was most impressed. As someone in... More

Excellent little place . Marvellous staff to guide you through their 600+ whiskies . Even pies and peas at lunchtime to stave off inebriation.....

WOW!!! The owner and his daughter (and wee grand daughter) were more than hospitable and gracious.... More

Went along expecting to have something nice to eat as well as a couple of drams. Food offering poor. Have no idea why this is rated as a restaurant thus only one star.

That is the great pub to bring people visiting you. The eldest in Glasgow. Having great atmosphere and more impressive whisky collection!
