The staff were really welcoming and helpful (our waitress, Helen, was perfect), and the food was utterly delicious. I didn't have pudding (trying to be good) but fell for the irresistible petit fours that came with the coffee. We had the round table - worth...More

Excellent meal here for my 21st Birthday! We were warmly greeted and shown to a lovely table in a corner booth. We chose from the set menu which was both great value and had a very good choice for both vegetarians and fish/meat choices. We...More

Big hype about how good this restaurant is , so felt it ideal being so near the hotel on a wet evening last Wednesday. Small, but comfortable feel and prompt attention. Mussels to share in a fish broth were delicious . My partners cod was...More

Arrived at 5-50 pm served with main course at 6-50 pm Far too slow for early evening dinner . Food good but cauliflower over salted. No one asked how our food tasted. Wary about returning.

I was happy to go there, I remember the series in the cables. The staff is great and the food too. The soup warmed me up. The salmon melted in the mouth.

A small restaurant but very pleasant helpful staff and high quality food . The chicken was delicious . There was a wait for food - but that shows it’s fresh cooked to order - and it’s a place take your time and enjoy the taste...More

There are lots of good bars within a few minutes, most are the trendy type and serve good cocktails. The Griffin Bar is a little bit different, looks like an old pub but has a great range of Scottish Gins; worth a try!
