Visited recently and had the pre theatre menu. Good value and really nicely cooked food. Fish was perfectly cooked. Restaurant was fairly busy early Saturday evening and very pleasant staff. Would probably advise to book table in advance.

The food was very nice and there was a good selection on the menu. The wine we selected was new to us, but very gluggable. The staff were friendly and pretty efficient. If I could I would have awarded 4.5 stars. Not quite Excellent but...More

Very friendly staff but food variable. Lunch was so good we went back for dinner. Mistake as the Angus steak wasn't rare it was grossly over cooked. Coffee was excellent but the occasion had been spoilt.

This is a professionally run restaurant with pleasant and helpful staff. My wife and shared scallops as a starter and then had the Halibut both of which was very good. Decent wine list. The location of this restaurant is good particularly for tourists visiting the...More

Very good meal and good value. Had roast onion salad to start followed by chicken supreme. Both good but blown out of water by cheesecake pudding. Outstanding. Service a little amateurish but I'm being picky.

So enjoyed our meal last night. I had the fennel onion and black olive risotto because of reviews on Trip Advisor. It was very good. Entree of Scottish smoked salmon a treat for an Aussie girl.

Had heard such great things about the Two Fat Ladies restaurants so perhaps this is a case of our expectations being too high. The room is lovely and quiet. The service was very good. And the food was very good but not fantastic as others...More

The food, the staff - everything perfect. Did go with voucher but will certainly be back very soon as the food (even though I think I am a reasonable cook) was to die for.

There are lots of good bars within a few minutes, most are the trendy type and serve good cocktails. The Griffin Bar is a little bit different, looks like an old pub but has a great range of Scottish Gins; worth a try!

My recollection is that it is a restaurant. No sun beds or balconies?

As I recall there are no steps up into the restaurant and I think the restroom is on the same floor, but you should check with the restaurant to be sure. Hope it works out for you - it's a great place with wondeful food.
