As Joni Mitchell sang "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone". I occasionally popped in here when I was in the vicinity. Always a good choices of tunes being played, from Piaf to Reggae, and friendly welcoming service from Rose. The Go Slow has changed hands, so isn't the Go Slow any more, but it will still be... A gem of great food and coffee in a shabby chic cafe. Friendly comfortable place to while a way an hour or two. Good food not fast food. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

I've only been to the Go Slow Cafe twice, but each time I've ended up raving about the food. On my most recent visit, I had hummous with homemade (olive!) bread and a tasty salad garnished with olives and pickles. So delicious, wholesome and filling. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. The prices are... More

Wonderful food. We had soup and a panini. Amazing flavours and lovely service. It advertises early evening meals on a Saturday with BYOB, will add this to my must do list next time I am back home.

I decided to opt for the hot chocolate after reading all the ooooooo's and aaaaaa's about it. Well...... for £2.90 I felt... More

Went to this place for the first time with a friend on a wet and windy Friday afternoon. It was very quiet but I suspect the weather had a lot to do with that and it was relief for us to get out of it and in to a nice cosy atmosphere! The cafe is very veggie orientated but there... More

Great wee cafe with good food! Enjoy sitting outside with our wee dog watching the world go by on Vickie Road. Worth a wee visit for a chill out cafe.
