We skipped lunch in lieu of high tea at Hidden Lane. YUM! This was our first proper tea, and we loved it. There were savory sandwiches and well as sweet bites, including scrumptious little Victoria Sandwiches, and much more. The service was very friendly, and...More

Nice ambience, easy going service, nice teas. Bad scones, not soft, not crumbly, not warm (practically cold), nauseatingly sweet desserts. Can’t speak for the sandwiches, didn’t try, looks good though. Pretty cutlery, doesn’t look the cleanest. Disappointing....More

Not at all! We have kids in all the time. We do a smaller version of our afternoon tea for little ones which is very popular, you can also swap a cake for fruit salad if you fancy. If you want to come at the weekend or on... More

It is not necessary to book, but we do get very busy at the weekends so we would therefore recommend booking at the weekend. Thanks The Hidden Lane Tearoom
