At first I was apprehensive as the menu doesn't seem that exciting but this place is brilliant home made food done exceptionally - they have managed to turn boring traditional dishes like pies & beef stroganoff into some of the best food I've ever had!...More

Went here for dinner for the first time last night and I was very impressed. The restaurant is fairly small so I recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment. The staff are very attentive and friendly ensuring we were happy throughout our visit....More

I scoped this place out and glad I got in early (opens at 5pm). Half the restaurant was taken for bookings so it must be popular. I had the black pudding, tattie scone and poached egg with chutney and salad to start. For the main,...More

Phone them. They are usually well booked in advance. We book out Christmas meal in September. They will bend over backwards to help if they can.
