Was here as part of a hen party, afternoon tea was nice however not plentiful. There were 3 cake stands for a party of 15. Some miniature meringues and 2 cakes were then brought out. We then made a craft item. This all took place in a small workroom and the girls running this work shop were very pleasant. A... More

Hi there Elaine, Thanks for your review. I see from your review that you did have a good time at your hen party yet only gave us three stars. I wondered if it may be helpful to break down the costs of our hen party afternoon tea as we really have tried to give excellent value for money. Afternoon tea... More

This is how all Cafes should be. Tucked away in a quiet street is Cushion and Cake, a traditional and friendly cafe in which to wind down. The decor is all fresh pastels with the furnishings a mixture of antique and painted tables and chairs that just seem to belong there. We had great slices of freshly made cake, the... More

Thank you so, so much for your lovely review! Why does tea taste better from china cups? I think you get a better cuppa from china cups as they are smaller and you take your time drinking from them which allows you to savour the flavour more? There will be lots of thinking behind this but there's my thoughts! Thanks... More

This is an amazing little diamond that is worth finding if you like retro. What a delight to sip tea from beautiful china cups with the biggest pieces of cake being served I have ever seen. Looking forward to my next visit.

Well myself, my mum and sister visited this lovely tearoom today or should I now say yesterday :-) We were all impressed with the vintage inspired room, the music and atmosphere was perfect xx Once we or should I say me had calmed down slightly we ordered food, both myself and mum ordered the roast chicken and pesto sandwich on... This is a little treasure of a place. Not on the main road and very small inside but the welcome and service are fantastic. If you are at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery or just in the neighnourhood it is a must visit. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. I wanted the tearoom to feel like you were popping into my home for a cuppa and I think that's how you perceived us so thanks for posting about it. I hope to see you again soon! More

I love this place. Been a couple of times and the service is always excellent. Food tastes great and is good value too, especially the afternoon tea. I would definitely recommend a visit, however, it's a wee bit small so call in advance!

This is a lovely review! Thank you. It is true we are only little and it is very good advice to call and book a table particularly on Saturdays. Thanks again for taking the time to write lovely things about the tearoom. See you soon! More

Popped in on the way back from kelvingrove museum, really friendly owner made us feel right at home. Cakes were fantastic and I have to recommend the grenadine & vanilla tea, so good I bought some to take home. Fantastic !!

I met my friend here this week, we both have babies and I phoned ahead to book. Although the cafe isn't terribly spacious the staff could not have been more accommodating. There is a lovely atmosphere. There is a vast selection of leaf tea served on vintage china. I ordered a chocolate brownie and it really was the best brownie... More

You don't really can notice where they are. They don't have a attractive front door. I wonder the inside is much more small than I thought. But very cosy, bright and clean. 2 ladies staff very friendly. The soup today sweet potato w/ Ginger and chilli which is lovely, and all gone only 3pm. the sandwich very fresh. Chocolate cake...
