I've been here several times over the last few years, however my latest visit was... hard to put into words! I found the steak offensive! We were seated at seven, had starters at 8.20, mains at 9.30 and I left my company at 10.30 having still not received dessert. Portion size was poor with two glasses of wine cost me... More

My Fiancé took me here for my birthday meal and the food was amazing! We both thoroughly enjoy our meals and the staff were friendly.

I've always heard great reviews about browns in Edinburgh so while in Glasgow we stopped in for some lunch, which was below average and the service was so slow waited ages for desserts and drinks took forever to arrive, it wasn't busy either, practically empty. The waiter was friendly enough maybe it was just an off day. Not sure about... More

Bit of a mixed review for our visit to Browns. Staff were very pleasant despite it being obvious that they were extremely busy. The soup starter was tasteless, like drinking water that had colour added. Main course was excellent, but side portions small. Dessert was good. Felt we were rushed to leave. Pleasant staff saved the evening, but the feeling... More

Visited Browns on the weekend of 16-18th December. Fridays we only went for drinks and saturday we had sit down meal with friends. What a lovely place. Very impressive decor and the excellent staff. We had been booked for Christmas menu, so limited options but the food was great. Cannot fault this place at all. Will go back if ever... More

Visited Browns for a elderly family celebration ;-) ... Browns is a great big open space on George Square in the centre of Glasgow, very easy to notice and get to. We were a mixed group, old, very old and kids ... food selection suited everyone. Everyone enjoyed their selections, service was great - especially given the time of year.... More

Only.ever been here with my work colleagues the last 2 December's for Christmas lunch. Very good food I thought, although some of my colleagues felt this year was not as good as last year. I would recommend it but if we return next year I would ask for a table downstairs as upstairs is not as quiet.
