We went there because of the high review ratings in the Internet, and we were well rewarded! We had done a prior booking earlier on and they required us to place a GBP 40 deposit. We ordered a fish dish for a member of our...family and one tomahawk for the other 3 of us - medium done. It was very delicious; we had a really wonderful time of fun and conversation at this cosy restaurant, and we highly recommend others to try too.More

An early Saturday evening special family meal for a special birthday. We had advised them of this at time of booking and they gave a complimentary fizz cocktail on arrival. Our meals were excellent with haggis neeps and tattles, and scallops starters followed by 4...fillets all cooked nicely. Sides included chips, onion rings and a Mac n’ cheese which proved too difficult for the skinny legends to resist. To finish there was a huge rich sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate/coffee tart. Delicious. Service was welcoming, professional but also human at all times. Excellent small restaurant. Book.More

5 star all round. Amazing food, service and venue! The staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Honestly the food was cooked to perfection. There are some great restaurants in the city, I am very happy I chose this one. Thank you

I think that this steakhouse is a bit overrated. We had high hopes seeing how people have rated in the past, however, it was like an ordinary steakhouse and no where near the top 5 or even top 10 for me. The price was high...as expected and the staff were really friendly but the service was not the best.More

We had a recommendation to try this place and we were very glad we did! Not a big place so we got a reservation for dinner. I had the lamb chops and my partner the rib-eye. Both were cooked to perfection! The sides that came...with the lamb were very interesting, texture and taste wise. Service was pleasant,I think our server was Mark and he took very good care of us! highly recommend!More

Firstly, I must highly commend Mark for his exemplary front of house performance. He was running the show on his own and still maintained his warm, jovial character and professionalism. I would have given my 5 star rating just on that, even if the food...was terrible. Alas, that was not to be the case as the food excelled as well. The best steak my wife and I can remember! If you want to have a great evening, Mark is your guy and if you're looking for a steak in Glasgow, look no further. Meat Joint is the one!More

Such a lovely restaurant, we popped in without a reservation and were truly blown away with the service (thank you Mark!) and the food. Scallops were cooked to perfection, the malbec was a perfect accompaniment to my blue fillet and the other ones rare sirloin....Would highly recommend and when I'm back in Glasgow this is my first choice of place to eat!More

Prior to a week-long hike, I wanted to splash out on a good meal and wasn't disappointed here. It's a small place so would suit an intimate meal setting. I however was on my own but that didn't stop my waiter from giving me his...best friendly service. The 'haggis' scotch egg starter was a treat. Followed by the Cote de Boef (Ribeye on bone) which was a good quality cut and nicely cooked. Oh, and huge - it had me stumped! The truffle fries were a little odd - they seemed to be fries sprinkled with a truffle salt. Overall, a great place for a steak and a fair price too.More

Went to the Meat Joint for lunch today and boy it didn’t disappoint. We had read the reviews and as we were in town decided to give this eatery a go. We ordered the chateau with sides of mac n cheese, fries, roast potatoes 2...sauces. Mark who served us was lovely we asked for his advice on how the meat was cooked and he gave it and offered to cook the meat further if we wanted. The meat was cooked to perfection Slightly charred on the outside but pink and melt in the mouth All in all a lovely meal and we will definitely be back.More

Fantastically friendly staff within a very small restaurant with great atmosphere. Went for the chateaubriand rare and was not disappointed. The meat was succulent and juicy and the sauces were excellent. We were served by Mark who was a good laugh and very helpful and...another waiter (tall guy with an Australian accent) who was also very nice and could not do enough for us. We will definitely be back and probably very soon. Robert and TracyMore

Great service and the fillet steak although slightly smaller than expected for 290g was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a great steak give it a try or you’ll be missing out.

Helpful staff, however not a magnificient experience I had a delicious leek potato soup. Nevertheless the steak was not so good which should be their signature meal because of the name, the fries served with the meat were awful (not crispy)

It seems the most you can book on the website is 6 but there's definitely space to seat 8. I'd give the restaurant a call
