We just popped in for coffee, which was excellent, and some nibbles. It was crowded, completely full, and we went to the shelf upstairs, where people have to squeeze by one another, but that gives atmosphere and friendliness. The service was also friendly and just the right level of attentiveness. A great place to pop into if you are in... More

So glad we stopped at Avenue Coffee and that they had a table free. It's a very small place and clearly very popular. The coffee was excellent as was the hot chocolate and the service was very friendly. We never felt rushed. The cakes looked delicious but sadly we didn't try any of them.

I love this place. Their coffee and food is always spot on. Staff is friendly and attentive. The only drawback is that it gets crowded, so might not get a seat.

ordered the cajan chicken sandwich, too soft chiabatta bread, dry chicken, just horrible food, and the waitress was not bothered that my plate was hardly eaten.

Hi olivia t Sorry to read your review. I am just as disappointed as you are that your experience wasn't up to scratch, although I would like to address some of the points in your review. The chiabatta rolls that we use are not the traditional Italian bread that you might have expected and we apologize that this was not... More

Always enjoy sitting here with coffee or to work with a laptop. The coffee is nice and the staff are attentive, seating guests with water. My only gripe is that the cakes are a little on the pricey side, but it's a very nice atmosphere with a nice big window.

A lovely addition to Byres rd. Like what they done with the space and mirrors. Coffee served by the book and was very tasty only complaint cups a bit small for us Glasgow folk..and a tad pricey but worth a visit.

We visited the Avenue for an early morning breakfast and Coffee. The cafe had only just opened, so was quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was to a good standard and very tasty. The coffee on this occasion was a little disappointing for such well known craft coffee roaster and quality cafe.

Popped in for a coffee on sons recommendation and so glad we did. Probably the best coffee I have ever had. The soup and cake was also amazing. Will be in here every time I go back to Glasgow as son lives nearby.

We walked past Avenue Coffee and decided to stop by for a quick bite and warm drink. The staff were very friendly and food tasted freshly prepared. There were at least three vegetarian options on the menu. The tart with salad was beautiful - full of flavour and warming. I would certainly return. Upstairs is quite cramped and sitting on... More
