Called for drinks and a cake. If this review was just for the building I would give 5 stars, but in all honesty found the cup cake(sticky toffee) lacking in flavour and my latte was lukewarm. The interior is stunning ,being fully tiled in a very elaborate style and worth a visit just for the interior.

Warning don't eat beforehand. A three tiered cake stand each with tasty savoury bites, scones and cakes. Unlimited tea or coffee to wash down our delightful food. Don't like an item on the menu and it will be changed without any fuss. A children's menu is also available and was really enjoyed by my grand daughter. Only one downside for... More

I've visited this lovely venue several times over the last 2 or 3 years and have never been disappointed. The staff have always been extremely welcoming, attentive and knowledgable about the menu and my visit today for morning tea was no exception. Even my very fussy friend was impressed so that is praise indeed! Very ornate surroundings with a lovely... More

I went to have a late lunch with my friends. I ordered chicken wrap set with homemade soup but the chicken was too hard to the point that I cannot bite them. So I returned them and substitute them for chicken caesar salad. The taste are average. Tea and cupcakes are okay. The only thing I like is the staffs... More

Lovely venue. My friend and I enjoyed a relaxed afternoon tea at Cup as we'd been for cocktails last year and enjoyed the experience. They had a separate gluten free and vegetarian menu. Everything was fresh, tasty & plentiful. Lovely warm scones, tasty savouries and my favourite was the mini cheesecake. There are lots of different teas to choose from,... More

I am absolutely in love with Cup after being twice. The variety of teas on offer is amazing and suits everyone with the extra bonus of their vegan options for food and even better there is a vegan cupcake. When you get a tea you also get a timer to tell you when it is finished brewing and is at... More

My friend and I took advantage of an Itison deal to visit the Cuptea Lounge for Brunch. The staff were very welcoming, service was great. The building itself is lovely, apparently the former Bank of India, so very interesting. We were served a smoothie and mini eggs benedict (not too small at all) before our stand arrived bearing porridge, pancakes... More

Had a delightful morning breakfast that was very tasty & filling, in fact we had so much that we had to get some of the food to take away, well worth the money

Took my mum for her 70th birthday and we got the morning tea stand. The staff were great & brought the scones out with a candle & decoration. Great service & lovely food.

Returned to The Cup Tea Rooms for the morning stand with three friends. Once again we had a fabulous time. Two friends had the vegetarian option, they were delighted with the food. Great selection of lovely morning tea, loved the rolls on sausage, today we had pancakes with bacon, vegetarian option was pancakes with strawberries & other berries. Another change... More
