I have been to Buddy's a couple of times before and knew the food was good and decided to recommend to eat there with some friends. As we were seated a live band were getting set up and didn't think anything of it until they started playing and we couldn't hear each other. It totally wasted the point of a... More

We ordered two burgers, two fries etc. at 10pm on a Sunday night from their takeaway. 1 hour and 15 mins later it arrived. We live literally 0.5 miles away from the restaurant. Should have just collected! Food not super hot. Burger pretty poor, dry meat, soggy bun. Fries OK but not a great deal of seasoning on the garlic... More

Having seen the Facebook & Twitter posts regarding the restaurant's 'Taco Tuesday' theme I was keen to attend and sample something new in Glasgow's south-side. My, what a disappointment. Some background, Buddy's originally set the standard in the south-side, from it's humble beginnings at Skirving Street, Shawlands, it brought fresh, new, BBQ burgers to its customers. Regularly it was queued... More

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars for this meal. It really seems to depend what you order and who's serving you at Buddy's! This time was good overall, the girl who served us was friendly and attentive which was a lovely change from a different girl who was very uninterested and rude on previous occasions. We started with the... More

Went here for lunch with my son - I suppose my clue should have been that it was empty bar us! That said female server gave us a warm and friendly welcome and set lunch menu was cheap though limited . Shrimp popcorn was in reality about half a dozen small prawns in pretty tasteless batter. Unfortunately that wasn't biggest... More

Decided to try this place out and ordered a home delivery. Girl on answered phone then asked me to wait... and wait.. eventually took my order. It took nearly 2 hours for this to arrive at my home and they charged. £2.50 charge for this. Unfortunately they do not deliver ribs? Food nothing special and in total was a bit... More

I recently stopped by buddy's on my travels & I'm really glad i did, I had the peri peri burger which at the time i said was a 'proper burger' packed full of flavour with good quality ingredients, i also had the cajun fries which were seasoned perfectly. Would definitely recommend buddy's to everyone!

Avoid if you are getting delivery. 2 hours later and cold food. Excuses after excuses when trying to track the order. No Thanks.

Both burgers were soggy and cold. Taste was ok, but temperature is pretty important to me. Had fries and cajun fries, both were cold, and som eextra hot wings. The wings weren't extra hot in flavour, and weren't hot at all. Not sure how they are made, but there just seemed to be a crust of orange seasoning around it... More

Yeah, this place is one of the old skool on Glasgow's burger scene and does feel like that now. But the still create tasty good value burgers and sweet potato fries.
