This is a small gem of a place in Glasgow. Candles on oil skin table cloths, a simple yet great menu. Vegetarian options and new dishes added regularly. The staff were very friendly and professional and the place does get busy , so I would advise booking.

Great place. Food amazing, staff casual and friendly. A wee bit cramped during busy times - weekends. However, I'm a regular as that doesn't bother me too much.

A small restaurant. Great for lunches and bookings recommended for dinner. Authentic flat white coffees. Lasagne baked in individual dish with fresh tomatoes and herbs. Served with garlic bread. Affordable lunch for a quiet place central to First bus routes to the city.

Popped in on a Saturday night and this place was BUSY. Luckily I'd booked, but we still had to wait for 5/10 mins at the door before we were seated. I was starving, and had this awful dread that I wouldn't be seeing food any time soon. Mercifully, I was wrong. They'd given us menus to browse whilst we were... More

Great restaurant on it's own little island. Lovely staff, very helpful. Really enjoyed my first cannelloni with haggis inside. It made me laugh at such a thought, but it was delicious and very filling.

Reasonably priced, pretty average food. Pizza Tuscany was bland so was the "bubbling" seafood starter. Waiter didn't advise us of the specials or tell us what any of the desserts were, he also took a good 10 minutes or so to take a drinks order. This was on a quiet Wednesday night. The Chicken Montaneno (I think that's what it... More

Food was nice enough - I can recommend the open lasagne with smoked haddock - to die for. Don't be tempted by the lovely sounding ice cream sundaes - really just vanilla ice cream with the slightest sprinkle of whatever they say is in it - bit of a rip off! Not somewhere I would go for a reasonable wee... More

Although seating is cramped and the waiter could crack a smile, the food is great. We tried to book but wee told it was full but happened to be passing shortly after and noticed a lot of empty tables so took a chance. Food is authentic, generous and very tasty. We hope to become regular guests.

I'm not sure what I was expecting...maybe mince and totties or overcooked steak and mash with Bisto gravy but it turned out to be very fresh tasting well-prepared simple ( my preferred ) northern Italian nosh. Delicious and I didnt walk out feeling like I'd eaten enough starch to start a laundry.
