wonerful decadent setting. As this was a catch up with friends we hadn't seen for a while a cocktail was in order. I had a seafood starter followed by the chicken.

Wonderful surroundings...though I'm not sure about the high backed seating as you can't see around the restaurant. It restricts the view. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The meal was very good. Have to recommend the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. Good place to meet with friends and I'm sure we will be back,

Wonderful building situated between Merchant Square and George Square. Ideal venue for quality cocktails at a reasonable price. Didn't eat here on this occasion but the food that we saw being served at other tables looked fabulous. Will definitely eat here next time we are in Glasgow

Had a birthday meal and it was wonderful. Starting with lentil soup a bit peppery for my taste but tasty nonetheless. Roast chicken for mains and it was exceptionally good. And cranachan for dessert, excellent. The surroundings were stunning. The service was good friendly but not too in your face. The meal had been prepaid as it was a birthday... More

My wife had been before with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Eventually we found the venue of which she had such good memories. And she was right. The setting is superb. The service is superb. The cooking is superb. And the value for money of the Market Menu (£10.95 for two courses) is unbelievable. Why go to a fast... More

Popped in here for a seat and a cocktail after shopping. I was struggling to find a cocktail I wanted from the menu and the young barman said he would make anything I wanted. I chose an old fashioned Brandy Alexander which was delicious. It is not often you come across such service - will definitely be back.

Lunch on 30th June at 1pm. Meal - we had the 3 course market menu. Every course was so tasty and just the right amount of food. Starters - The best smoothe pate I'd tasted with equally tasty chutney. The salmon was perfect. Mains - the chicken was more succulent than any I've tasted. Potato and haggis, a tasty surprise.... More

My friends & I were on a night out and decided to book a booth at the Corinthian. When we arrived the waiter who's name was Christian came over straight away to take our order. We didn't have to wait long on our prosecco but when it arrived the prosecco wasn't chilled enough. Christian apologized and brought us over another... More

First time at the Corrinthian Club looks great inside highly recommend when looking for somewhere nice to go. The booths are a great idea makes the dining experience a bit more private. From start to finish the food was excellent I would recommend the steak one of the best i've had with the handcooked chips. Cocktails are a must too.... More

Description
Following an eight month £5.7m refurbishment, The Corinthian Club reopened its doors in late August 2010.Scotland’s leading artisan craftsmen spent hundreds of man-hours painstakingly creating aspects of the building, including a mosaic floor made of more than half a million tiles, over a thousand hand moulded acanthus leaves, fitting hand carved panels and restoring ornate wooden detailing. The iconic 26’ Corinthian dome remains a focal point in the new Tellers Bar and Brasserie where designers have also uncovered a stairway, once the route to the cells of the High Court, which now leads to the relaxed, organically-styled Mash and Press Rooms.A new addition to the venue, The Corinthian Club now boasts the most stunning gaming facilities in the country.Other highlights include the glittering Boutique, offering everything from afternoon tea to evening cocktails and housing the venue’s high-end retail space for ladies to enjoy a spot of retail therapy in the luxurious comfort of the plush velvet and sparkling crystal interior. It’s the first time a Glasgow entertainment venue has incorporated a pop-up retail space into one of its bars and, true to style, The Corinthian Club’s range has already featured high-end clothing and accessories from Comme des Garçons, Agent Provocateur and Boudiche.Bootleg takes its inspiration from a 1920s American speakeasy and is proving a huge hit with gents. Serving the finest matured sprits from around the world, Bootleg is also home to a secret cocktail which, in homage to its speakeasy roots, is only available to those who know it exists. The bar itself is fashioned out of traditional bank safes and the floor is made from a 500,000 piece mosaic tiles which have been painstakingly hand-crafted to form the image of Queen Victoria as she appeared on old banknotes - in a nod to the building’s past life as the Union Bank of Scotland. The new Corinthian Club has revolutionised Glasgow’s meeting, eating, socialising and gaming scene, boasting 14 rooms spaced across 5 floors. Creating more than 200 jobs for the city, the unique venue is open 24 hours and is the only one of its kind in the UK to offer a range of bars, clubs, restaurant, meetings rooms as well as a stunning gaming room all under one roof.Preserving much of the 260 year old Grade A listed building, internationally renowned Glasgow design firm Graven Images was commissioned to work alongside Scotland’s leading artisans - creating a stunning fusion of traditional craftsmanship and cool modern design.
