Myself and my boyfriend visit Mother India regularly and cannot believe it is not considered to be the number one Indian restaurant in Glasgow! The food is fresh and varied with high standards and a fantastic dining experience. The basement is particularly quirky. The butter...More

Before coming to Glasgow, we heard that the best Indian restaurants were in Scotland. Although several people in Glasgow recommended Mother India as one of the best Indian restaurants, we did not find it remarkable. The food was good and tasty. Interesting cooking style. However,...More

I have had several business dinners at Mother India. The food was fantastic every time and the service is very attentive. Also the prices are good for the quality. I will definitely visit again.

The DK guidebook highly recommended this restaurant. I love Indian food and am often disappointed. This was not the case. I ordered the vegetarian option and everything was very tasty. The ambience in the upstairs dining room is also very special with warm woods and...More

I didn't know it ever was! First time visit and they had an extensive drinks menu including wine. Didn't notice any corkage details on the menu. I would recommend you go direct to them to check in case I missed it.
Can you take own wine if having set lunch menu or only if a la carte

Not sure if it's BYO because we went for lunch but I'm sure it's just a matter of a phone call to ask :-)
I am visiting Glasgow next week and am booked in for dinner at your main original branch, with my sons family. I would like to see your current menu , the website isn't working at this time , can you send me the menu ? Thanks

Website was working when I just looked, but menu isn't downloadable. I would advise you try again. The trip advisor Q&A does not allow me to post the link...
