Even tho it's not a good as it used to be it's still a great little spot for a spot of lunch. Could do with having a bigger menu.

Went last night for dinner. Was a bit put off by some of the previous reviews but it was handy for where we were going afterwards. Restaurant was lovely and cosy warm thankfully as it was very cold outside. The two guys who served us were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. ( One was called Rhuiridh) There were 5 of us.... 5 of us had a lovely meal and some delicious cocktails on Saturday night. Food was good and cocktails expertly poured. The staff were great but there were just not enough of them. The bar and restaurant were very busy and there was a hen do in the conservatory yet the place was seriously understaffed. Though food orders were taken... More

The Landsdowne is a cozy, welcoming restaurant/pub which is perfect for a quiet evening meal or a big get together. Myself and my partner live nearby and we were happy to discover this lovely place was just down the road. The macaroni and nachos are particularly delicious and the cocktails are great to pick up on a weekday deal. We... More

After checking various Glasgow west end restaurants looking for a mixed American diner we choose the lansdowne. Hugh menu. Cooked from fresh. Humous and mini pittas were tasty. Lovely garlic flavour. Olives with bread and balsamic went down well. We chose burgers burritos and pizza. The spicy chicken and chorizo pizza was great. Nice size. Not too large. Thin and... More

Visited here last night. The decor and the interior is really nicely done up. The food- I went for fish and chips as you can't really go wrong with that. Fish was breaded however was over cooked and really dry. Friend had the hunters chicken and said it was good. They had no fresh lime in the pub/ restaurant as... More

Hugely disappointed by our treatment by staff members last night! Did not expect to be shouted at in an aggressive manner from across the bar by staff when giving feedback about an order they got wrong and that it wasn’t very encouraging that the staff were eating dominoes take-away pizza at the bar after telling us there was no pizza... We came here for our work Christmas lunch on 9th December as a group of 36. We were seated very quickly and the food was served promptly. The lunch itself was delicious - I had the lamb and it just fell off the bone, so tasty! I was so impressed by the service, considering there were so many of us,... More
