Last minute dinner in the west end - got a table no problem on a Friday evening. This is a favourite little restaurant we visit reasonably often - its small , friendly and the fish is usually of a high standard. I suppose the lack of linen tablecloths is much in vogue , but I quite liked them , but... More

This is a small restaurant with a very small open kitchen at the front of the restaurant. Excellent menu, fine ingredients, brilliantly prepared in front of you. The large wall is adorned with a painting of, yes, Two Fat Ladies and as nature intended.

Fish is their thing and the Cullen Skink was light, fresh as was the sea bream main. The creme brûlée was amazing. Definitely... More

Its in a great location, it has a distinctive and characterful interior and its nice to have an open kitchen. Things started off on a poor footing when we were given a table facing and next to the toilet and rear... More

I booked the restaurant for my 30th birthday because I had heard good things about the restaurant and had never been. The location is great, located at the bottom of Byers road. It's a small restaurant which makes it nice and cosy. The staff are friendly and relaxed, when we visited I was heavily pregnant and they chose a particular... More

Before heading out to see Romesh Ranganathan in Glasgow the two of us nipped in to The Two Fat Ladies. We've enjoyed Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery before but this was our visit to the West End one. The meal was really nice- fish was the speciality. I had the fish of the day which was great and Elaine... More
