First visit to cafe strange brew and it was AWESOME! Had to choose the Stornoway stack, oh wow, delicious, and very filling! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Had to wait 40 mins for a table but they took our number and...text when table was ready - this worked great, we just went a wander round the shops. Well done to all the team 👏More

I happened upon here one afternoon in August, and it was so lovely (food and service) that it has become my favourite place for brunch. So far, I've always had Brew Benedict (sometimes with smoked salmon) but all the food I've seen in there looks...beautifully presented and yummy lol. The only thing I don't like is the coffee - it doesn't take like coffee to me - the overriding flavour seems to be something else, but yes - definitely strange. However, I think it must just be a personal taste thing because I see no other reviews mentioning the taste of the coffee - a strange brew indeed!More

Found the place on trip advisor and I must safe I was delighted. This was a pre cinema 40th Birthday for my wife and a day with no kids 😂. I had the Stornoway stack and my wife the pancake stack. Words can't describe just...how good it was. From the pleasant welcoming and the quick service. 10/10 and will be back.More

We’ve been visiting this place with my husband for the past couple of years. Love it to bits! ❤️ There is no better place to do breakfast/brunch. Always great and fresh food, amazing people and that vibe only Strange has ❤️

Wanted to visit here for ages as always queues outside but managed to walk straight in today and I was not disappointed. I had the Stornoway stack which is toasted sourdough bread, potato scones, Stornoway black pudding, crispy bacon, poached eggs and Sriracha sauce. Hefty...but delish! Lovely flat white too. Staff were excellent really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back and try the pancakes next timeMore

1st visit. Great service. Spotlessly clean. Drinks icy cold. I had the chorizo mash dish which was simply epic. One tiny complaint I found the room harsh and deafening as there are no sound absorbing surfaces anywhere. Perhaps it's deliberate so customers don't stay too...long. Nevertheless I'm keen to go back will try to sit outside next time.More

First class experience every time we've eaten here. On our most recent visit the cafe was full but we were able to get takeaway and eat on the benches just outside. Brilliant brunch and lunch options, including a few dishes with a really good kick,...divine pancakes and excellent coffee.More

As soon as we sat down they bought a bowl of water for our dog. The service was great as was the food and drink. I had the Green Shakshuka, which was amazing! My kids had the brittle pancakes which they said was yummy too.

The brunch here was to die for!! Visited with friends on Saturday. There was a 45 minute wait time, the lady kindly took our number and texted us when the table was ready. It was soooo worth the wait!! The food was just absolutely incredible!!...The best brunch I have ever had! Would highly, highly recommend!More

Hey. Nope the baking powder is in a small plastic tub, which we go through at least 2 a week, so not possible it has expired either.
