They do great spicy crispy chicken and the restaurant is slap bang in the middle of Byers road so good for meeting mates for dinner and then going to the pub.

I use to go to Chow on Byres Road regularly.... tonight's visit has reminded me why I haven't been in a while. I ordered my all time favourite starter - hot and sour soup. It was simply uneatable. It was basically a pot of pepper, no taste or spice - just pepper. I had one spoonful and threw the rest... More

2 of us. The biggest complaint is that the portions aren't huge. Beef stir fried hor fun £8.50, salted egg prawn £10.95, spicy cumin lamb £9.95, spicy chilli chicken £8, beer x2 £6.60. Food served fast and hot, taste good, but service wasn't attentive. Overall gd.

The place is a bit basic and staff could be a bit more pleasant but I have to admit we found the food to be tasty and of decent quality. We chose from the larger menu which all the Asian people were choosing from, we were not sure what to expect but the portions were far too big and we... More

This is my favourite restaurant, I have been here many of times, never been disappointed. I prefer sitting upstairs, I like the atmosphere better. Highly recommend the stir fry beef satay! The staff are lovely too!

Really lovely food whenever we eat here. Sometimes feel a little intimidated by the 'harshness' of the staff - rarely very friendly and a bit sullen.

Stopped in for lunch with my travel companion a few weeks ago. Picked their 3-course lunch special and the meal ended with pineapple fritters. I've never had anything like it before, but they were SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. So yeah. Go there and eat those asap.
