Was here for a friends birthday at the weekend. Service was fantastic and food was amazing. So much choice we didn't know where to start. We started with the blooming onion of course, gorgeous, and then I had the chicken quesadilla. Couldn't finish it, there was so much! Everyones meals were very tasty and large portions. Cant wait to go... More

As we had our dog with us we got a takeaway and returned to our caravan. I ordered and collected after 20 mins. We ordered way too much food but there was so many things on the menu we wanted to try! Fajitas and hotdogs were really good! The only downfall was there wasn't much juice choice, only tins of... More

We'd heard that Roo's had a gluten free menu although they don't seem to advertise this. We went in and asked and the server said that they had just started doing a gf menu and advised us to book. Glad we did as the place was busy when we went for our evening meal. I had the chicken burrito and... More

Roos leap is a great restaurant! You know what ya gonna get when you come in, it's great pub comfort food! Of you expect anything else then you'll be setting your self for a fall. The food is nice, some of it is microwaved but tbh you would be surprised how any big busy pubs ding lots of their food.... More

Had a good meal here, though had expected that there would be more exotic meat options (aside from the kangaroo sliders there didn't appear to be anything). Nonetheless, food was good and service was good.

Enjoyed this more than I was expecting to. Excellent burgers (kept the family happy). Big portions! The Coopers ale was fine too....

Good food, served quicjly by friendly staff. We had a burger, fajitas and kids chickem. Only comment would be the cleanliness of the toilets, it was early in the evening and I'd expect toilets to be a little fresher before the dinner rush began.

Book if you want to be assured of a table in busy periods. Australian style restaurant that serves good burgers and excellent vegetarian cheesy burrito. Fast friendly service and right next to the train station.

Despite a promising menu, the actual burger did not live up to the menu. I had the cheese burger, my wife the Aussie burger. Lots of burger, but fairly tasteless, the bread buns were too large and rather well-done. We asked for mayonnaise, which was Heinz bottle dumped on the table (warm!) so avoided this! Two burgers, two drinks and... More

Having experience of eating at Australian restaurants the Outback in the USA, it was interesting to compare Scottish version against them. Roos leap can hold its head up. There are fewer options re steaks, but this is made up with other items particularly an assortment of burgers and no one should find it difficult to find something to their taste.... More
