We nipped in here for an evening meal and it all seemed a little strange with the Australian décor and a menu veering towards American and Mexican. The nachos starter was lovely, but it was the main courses that let things down a bit for us. My chicken burger was far too heavily cooked so the edges were like concrete... More

Visited here as part of a short stay. It was ok. The portion sizes were too large really but the quality of the food itself was good. Very busy so worth booking if you are intending to go there. Overall it is worth a look if the menu tickles your fancy.

Not a great experience at Roos leap over priced low quality food we had a party of 5 we all had different types of burger all where terrible, sloppy and dry meat was of a poor quality and over cooked. The service was not great also the girl brought the drink to the table and spilled most of the drink... More

Our party of 12 had an enjoyable meal on Saturday night and the staff were prompt and helpful despite us screwing up our reservation. Food was very nice and settling the bill was no problem. Will go again.

Booked at the shortest of notice on Saturday evening but were welcomed like old friends. Emma really has excelled in building a very strong and efficient team around herself, playing every member of the team to their strengths. Service and standard of food were exceptional, well done to all.

Ok but nothing to really shout about. Great branding and style over substance a little. However, if you want affordable, average food then fine

Out for a meal and as we passed decided to call in and give it a try. It is quite a varied menu and it was easy to find something to choose. Waiting staff were very friendly and handled customers well. Food once ordered comes quickly, which is a bonus if your hungry. Quality is good and quantity if fine.... More

Aviemore doesn't have many good eating places, Roo's Leap isn't one of them. It's a bit of a mixed up restaurant, Australian name and décor but with an American themed menu - nachos, burgers, hot dogs, Jamaican Burger and spaghetti Bolognese for example. I ordered the Teriyaki burger, which arrived lukwarm, which makes me suspect that much of the food... More
