We ate here twice during our three night stay in Aviemore. The food was very good and reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly

We wanted a spot of lunch and found this place very friendly, albeit quiet but the food and the service was 10/10. The menu is not extensive but what is on offer is more than adequate and it is reasonably priced. I loved my perfectly cooked 10 oz gammon steak and cajun potatoes, it defiinately was worth the wait. The... More

Visited this pub/inn 2nd week April 2017 after visiting Aviemore for ten years!, My husband and I arrived with our well behaved Kerry Blue Terrier mid morning and I cant say we were greeted only looked at by a miserable looking blonde middle aged woman mopping the floor. We made first contact asking "excuse me, are you still serving breakfast... More

We tried to book a table for 5 for lunch today. After much tooing and fro-ing we were told that they werent going to accept a booking as they were showing the Old Firm match on the TV and expected to be full of Old Firm fans drinking and watching the TVs so no bookings to leave the place free... Stopped here to break up a long journey and get a meal. Wish we'd gone to the chippy! I suppose it would not have been so bad but the staff member we complained to just wasn't interested. My husband had the chilli bean nachos and when he pointed out that the bowl was over half full of nachos with not... More

Do yourself a favour and don't visit this restaurant! Terrible service. A small group of us visited the restaurant recently and after over an hour waiting, left hungry and insulted. A seemingly clueless waiter kept telling us that we would take our order soon but after one hour waiting we had to leave. On explaining to the waiter that we... More

If you're looking for some speedy pub grub and friendly customer service this is not the place to go. Myself and my sister approached the bar staff and waiter four times in the space of 30 mins to try and get an order in, each time we were told they can't take more than 10 orders at one time so... Food is amazing! Me and my partner both had a steak burger, really really delicious! I wish I'd taken a photo of it!! The whole place itself isn't very special but after a long walk it's a great place to have a drink and a bit of lunch. Really great atmosphere - it probably helped that the Six Nations was... More

Poor show in here customer service skills from the bar man. His attitude was rude and not welcoming last night. We went in on the Friday which was fine a few beers and a game of pool and darts returned Saturday only for the bar man to display a lack of respect for his customers. A chalk deposit is required... Would never return here as the service received from the barman stunk. A friends went in for some drinks but the attitude from the barman was couldn't be bothered and just rude. Went to another pub and spent loads and had a great night.
