Tried the new pay at your table app, which seemed to be very efficient, although it was only 11.30 in the morning not sure how it would work on s busy sat night, drinks were delivered almost as soon as placed the order

I was recently in Wick for business and had popped into the bar for a drink and some food. It was a Tuesday night and when I walked in there was a queue of about ten people at the bar. So I had to wait...More

Came in here for some drinks but left after the first round. Was no music and no atmosphere. Went next door to The Crown to finish our night.

Wick the ideal stepping stone on the North Coast 500 and The Alexander Bain the perfect pit stop for two hungry travellers. Easy to find, plenty of room, friendly staff, quick service and choices on the menu that don't touch on the exotic, oh, and...More

A (fairly) late return down the coast road after a stunning day in Orkney resulted in an evening forage around Wick looking for a good meal. A welcoming looking pub seemed to magically appear right in front of us at exactly the right time. Even...More

With an hour to waste, before heading on to meet the ferry, I decided to swap drivers, have a beer and a snack before heading onwards. The bar was everything I would expect from a Wetherspoon's, but with faster, friendlier staff. Good choice of beer...More

Called in after our Boat trip, the food was quickly delivered to the 5 of us after ordering at the bar, and boy it was plentiful, so much so we almost didn't have a pudding. They had a good variety including a Vegan choice for...More

Good quality, inexpensive food and a good choice of drinks and meals. Myself, husband and son ate here two nights running and the service was good.

Nice place with a decent selection of pub type food, including vegetarian options. Liked the very nicely priced guest ale taps too!

0des: I see that you are from Wick so why not just pop in and take a look. There is a menu on each table and no obligation to buy.
