Finding a great walk-in restaurant without a reservation on a Saturday night in Inverness is no small task. We would've never guessed that the lovely Contrast Brasserie would so gladly and expertly fit the bill. In spades. First off, the location overlooking the River Ness...More

On our final night in Inverness, my fiancé treated us to a lovely dinner at Contrast, which intrigued us on our walk back to our hotel across the river. Without reservation, we were seated right away by a lovely young gentleman. We were a little...More

Nice dining room in a pretty setting. We had booked in advance and had no trouble being seated on time. The meals were a little on the small side especially for my husband. The food was very good without being great and the service was...More

The dining room is very pretty, understated and elegant. And they have some outdoor seating in warm weather. Nice cocktail bar. We had good meals, not exceptional but very good. Good wine list. Reasonable prices for an upscale place. Service was slow.

the restaurant its self if lovely staff are friendly, however i feel that the portions are very small and a tad expensive for what you received. one of my cocktails where £10 each and to be honest not worth it.

This restaurant is connected to the Glenmoriston Town House so your booking is done by them (if you do unfortunately decide to eat here!) If you are above the age of 30, don't bother, they don't accept clients who are 'old' by the looks of...More

I am really sorry to hear of your recent experience. If you were overlooked it was an oversight on our part. We cater for all ages, and indeed our oldest customer is a centenarian! If guests were seated before you then they would have had...More
