What a great night. Friendly service by Iain. We had two of his recommendations off the menu. He gave us some local history about the views outside. The food was fast and tasty and cocktails just as wonderful. Thanks Iain from Skye for a great...More

We arrived late at this unique eatery and the staff was kind enough to seat us and keep the kitchen open to prepare us a meal - that immediately earns full stars considering we had subjected ourselves to a long & wearisome day of touring...More

We came to this restaurant for lunch. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. The place does have a nice view of the river if you can get a table by the window.

We just wanted pizza and pasta with goods wine and that's what we got. Service was good. The place has nice decor and it had a pleasant atmosphere. My only let down was average ice cream. I'd love some really good stuff. Otherwise good.

We have not been to this restaurant recently so decided to have lunch there, and weren't disappointed. Laura our waitress was very attentive, the food was excellent, and after having a starter and a main course we couldn't manage a sweet. The views from the...More

Zizzi Inverness boasts a fantastic location, elevated on the corner of Bridge Street with 2 elevations of glass enjoying panoramic views over the river. With its open kitchen this restaurant really is a visual show piece. Sadly although visually impressive the service and food are...More

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Zizzi Inverness is truly one of the most stunning restaurants we have. One elevation is all glazed floor to ceiling - giving diners a truly amazing view of the river. Four local themes have been the inspiration behind the design of the new restaurant: the historic River Ness, boats, whisky distilleries and the Highlands. A large wooden ceiling raft that is splintered at one end to replicate old boats, light fittings that look like buoys and a rope and pulley feature in the window. The contour lines of the Highlands and Lowlands are detailed through Ordnance Survey maps on the ceiling, whilst copper pipes throughout the restaurant give a nod to the famous distilleries.Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.
